    A wonderful Georgian silver 1/2 pint tankard by Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan, hallmarked for London 1790. Of plain baluster form with a looped and crested handle and raised on a spreading circular foot. The marks are clear. In very good, clean condition. It has a later engraved owner's initials, of G.E.H.S. Superficial surface bruising and a couple of dings but very smart in appearance and perfectly usable today!
