    A sweet and small late Georgian silver mug in the shape of a traditional beer mug with tapering sides and ribbed banding with shaped handle. Gilt washed inside. Hallmarked for London 1827, maker William Knight II. 

    It measures 7cm (2 3/4") high, 5.7cm (2 1/4") across the rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle. It weighs 97g / 3.1ozt. It has a capacity to the brim of 6 fluid oz (just over 1/4 pint) / 175 ml. 

    In very good condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear. The maker's mark is partially obscured but the other marks are fully clear. No engraving.
