    About this item

A very scarce George III silver four piece tea set made in London in 1814 by Samuel Hennell and John Terrey. This silver makers partnership only lasted for two years (1814-1816) so pieces by them are very scarce especially so early in the partnership.  All pieces are fully hallmarked and in excellent undamaged condition. They all have matching Georgian style gadrooning and are engraved with a stag's head crest. The set consists of a very unusual teapot stand, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug. An exctremely collectable set and very useable too.

WEIGHT; 1600 grams or 50 ozst approx.
