About this item
A beautiful George IV three piece silver teaset. Made in London by Jonathan Hayes in 1822. The ivory insulators have been replaced with a look alike man made material, there is NO ivory in this set. There are a matching set of hallmarks and all the pieces are in amazing condition with no damage or repairs. It is exceptionally well made with an unusual thumb piece on the handle, an acanthus leaf and a hogs head! One of the best Georgian teasets I have had by an excellent maker Jonathan Hayes. Very useable and extremely collectable.
