    About this item

A very rare George III silver jockey cap tea caddy spoon. Made in Birmingham in 1799 by John Thornton. This is one of the "original" designs which has been much copied over the centuries. It is in very good condition with no damage or repairs. There are a full set of hallmarks inside the spoon. This is a great find which would be a fantastic addition to any caddy spoon collection.
