    About this item

    This is a superb antique silver wine funnel and strainer, dating to the early 19th century. It bears a date of London 1800 and makers mark of Duncan Urquart and Naphtali Hart. It has an elegant swan-necked body with an applied reeded border, a pull out hand-pierced strainer with an applied reeded border. Hallmark is worn but still visible on both parts of the funnel. The clip on the side of the bowl is engraved with the letters 'TS'.
