About this item
A beautiful Victorian pocket or hip flask made of glass with a leather top and a silver bottom which acts as a cup. Made in Sheffield in 1873 by James Deacon and sons. The glass is in excellent clean condition and the leather top is also in excellent condition. The silver cup bottom is fully hallmarked and has a vacant cartouch on one side and a family crest engraved on the other. The silver cap has a cork in the top to seal the flask and is part hallmarked. The leather top has a window on either side to see the level of liquid inside. A great piece of Victorian silver.
