About this item
A beautiful silver gilt golden quaich made to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Made in 2002 by Hamilton and Inches of Edinburgh and comes with its original box along with paperwork. There are a full set of hallmarks underneath including the Golden Jubilee mark. The "lugs" or handles are cast with mythical celtic beasts. The quaich's name comes from the Gaelic word for a cup "cuach" and is often used for drinking a toast of friendship probably with whisky.
