A fabulous late 19th Century mahogany sofa or lamp table of neat proportions, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with rich patination, grain and with beautifully delicate line inlay throughout.  The well figured moulded top of rectangular form with twin hinged drop leaves is raised above single drawer frieze with a lovely decorative finely cast brass ring pull with flowerhead motif detail.  Raised over a pair of elegant ring turned supports conjoined with twin ring turned stretchers, above tapering outscrolling legs, terminating on finely cast brass lion paw toe caps and casters.
