Vintage 1950s Danish Sofa Bed by PMJ for Viby J
An excellent example of a vintage click clack double sofa bed made in the 1950/60's. Made in Denmark designed by Paul M Jessen and manufacturered by Viby J, Original Makers Mark - badge to the rear of the sofa bed.
In good vintage condition, the original navy upholstery is in good used condition and has had a light clean. the structure is sound the button back seats are heavily sprung and sturdy and very comfortable.
Original Upholstery.
The day bed, Sofa Bed has storage under the seat cavity.
It has a wonderful fully working Click Clack internal mechanisim that you just touch the back push down towards the front and it clicks easily into position for a bed.
To change back to a sofa, push the sofa back from the front and it smoothly clicks back in the up right position.
