    About this item

A lovely Victorian silver drinks flask, glass lined with a silver bottom cup. Made in Birmingham in 1895 by John Linegar, fully hallmarked on the body, cup and lid. The lid has a twist bayonet fitting and I have had a new cork inserted in the lid to give a better seal. The lid has a family crest but there are no initials or any erasures. Apart from surface scratches commensurate with the age of the flask it is in excellent condition as seen in the photographs. A great gift and a very useable item of silver.
