A charming set of antique original aquatinted prints, with original hand-colouring showing huntsmen with their gundogs enjoying an afternoon of sport. The scenes each lettered with their titles beneath and publication details "Painted by D.Wolstenholme / Engraved by T.Sutherland / London, Published at R.Ackermann's, 101 Strand, May 1 1823":
Plate I. 'Going out'
Plate II. 'Game found'
Plate III. 'Dogs brought the Game & reloading'
Plate IV. 'Refreshing'
Attractively toned, some foxing. Nicely presented in vintage Hogarth frames. Good full margins.
