    About this item

A large, 19th century, lustre jug with a pink lustre wash glaze over a black transfer print. This is marked “J M F” in a fancy cartouche above “No 43”. This is the mark of John Mayer, Foley, Staffordshire Potteries who traded from 1833 to 1841 and this jug dates from c.1835. The number would be a pattern number. It is a large, impressive piece and the effect with the overall, black floral transfer print is quite unusual. It is in excellent condition.

    Dimensions: Height 24cm. Width 24.5cm. Diameter 18cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Most of Western Europe add £12
