About this item
A late Victorian, English copper jelly mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ’654’. To the opposite end is a workmans’ mark in the shape of a circle. The mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper and dates from c.1890. There are a couple of very small dents, and slight pitting, to the exterior of the mould. Otherwise it is in good condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in good, usable condition.
