    About this item

A nineteenth century, steel meat cleaver with a fibre block and brass handle. This dates from c.1890 and is in very good condition, with just minor pitting to the steel, from use. There are five intriguing holes cut in the centre of the blade. These appear to be purely decorative as they have no apparent function. The cleaver is quite heavy and it is still in good usable condition as the blade is very sharp.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
