    About this item

A pair of early 19th century steel sugar cutters in their original, amazingly shaped, fitted wooden box. The sugar cutters are simple in form and without decoration in contrast to the box which is the most elaborate shape and carved from fruitwood. The wood has superb colour and patination and they date from c.1820.

Other than wear to the lining of the case, both the cutters and case are in very good condition.

Dimensions: The cutters are 25.5cm long by 12.2cm wide and the case is 28cm long by 13.8cm wide by 3.8cm deep.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
