This very striking BRITISH ART POTTERY UMBRELLA STAND or STICK STAND dates from circa 1890.
It is freely decorated, in relief, with fish, shells, birds and plants.
The base bears an impressed letter 'T' and the number 408.
It is in good condition with no restoration. It is stable and strong.
