A highly unusual 1920's English country house fireside seat or fender, having a sprung buttoned top for the ultimate comfort with original horse hair inners, raised on a boxed frame with brass sheeted inside to make it safe against the fire. Comfortable, firm and sturdy - now ready for a new top coat upholstery.
