George Vi Coronation Stool & Elizabeth Ii Coronation Stool

A well-presented pair of vintage coronation stools. The vintage coronation stool made of limed oak by ‘B. North & Sons of West Wycombe’ (maker’s mark to the underside) for the coronation of King George VI, paired with an Elizabeth II coronation stool made by ‘CASTLE BROS 1953’ (maker’s mark to the underneath). Both stools have a newly reupholstered royal blue fabric seat with gold trim, raised on four squared legs with chamfered edges. There are two metal carrying handles to the underside of one of the stools. An amazing pair and increasingly rare find of coronation stools in good condition.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good vintage condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the legs of each item (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall appearance or integrity of the product. The fabric has been recently professionally reupholstered on both stools. The vintage coronation stools remain structurally solid and sound. Overall, a fantastic pair of vintage coronation stools.

FREE delivery to England & Wales. For Scotland please get in touch for a delivery quote by calling us on 01685 813594.

Timescale: 5-15 working days. You will receive full delivery details once your order has been placed. For Scotland, delivery may take longer than 15 working days. Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

Delivery Exemptions: We do not deliver to areas outside of mainland UK (i.e Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles).

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £60 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
