About this item
Hand-Carved Pegasus Stool / Low Bench
A finely hand-carved hardwood stool depicting twin Pegasus figures in high relief, surrounded by scrolling foliage. The elongated rectangular top is richly detailed, showing impressive craftsmanship and a warm reddish-brown patina. Likely mid-20th-century and of Anglo-Indian or Southeast Asian origin.
Solid and sturdy, with a sympathetic old repair to one leg (as shown). Light surface wear consistent with age.
A distinctive and decorative piece that works beautifully as a low bench, display stand, or sculptural accent in any interior.
Condition: Good vintage condition; stable old repair to one leg.
