A late 19th century Georgian style Japanned stool - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This stool consists of a drop-in seat with a pale yellow silk fabric with dragon design, the stool having a moulded edge with profusely decorated rails with gilt Chinoiserie scenes on black ground of figures, landscapes and a geometric design.
The stool is supported by four cabriole legs with carved scroll to the top, foliate and husk decoration to the legs and terminating with four finely carved ball and claw feet.
This stool is very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
