    A WONDERFUL COFFIN/JOINT STOOL CIRCA 1830 WITH GREAT PROPORTIONS.  PINE AND WALNUT, THESE STOOLS WOULD HAVE BEEN MULTI FUNCTIONAL ITEMS AND WERE ONE OF THE MOST COMMON FORMS OF SEATING IN EARLY TIMES.  USED AS SIDE TABLES ASWELL AS SEATING AND OCCASIONALLY USED DURING THE 19TH CENTURY  TO SUPPORT COFFINS DURING FUNERAL SERVICES.
