An original Victorian pine trunk, chest or coffer of a good, neat size. Retaining its original painted finishes of a dark 'Brunswick' green, scumbled over a red ochre/ruddle undercoat. The lid with iron hinges. Plain interior.
Original decorative lock plate, but latch and key deficient.
