Spanish Gilt Wood Tall Lamp
The column in hexagonal section standing on a tripod base, the surface colour and worn original water gilding gives it the most wonderful patina. Originally a candle stand, now wired with natural fabric flex and bayonet cap bulb holder.
Spain, circa 1790
Sold without the lampshade.
77cm H (to the top of the wooden stand), 90cm H (to the top of the bulb holder).
Condition: Well presented, the gilt surface is stable and not flakey.
