About this item
A bold and sculptural ceramic lamp designed by Helmut Scholtis for the esteemed West German maker Carstens Tönnieshof, circa 1960s. The distinctive form is finished in a deep graphite grey glaze, dramatically accented with panels of matte blue that highlight its geometric contours. A standout example of mid-century European design.
