This is a pair of vintage cloisonné posy vases. A Chinese, painted enamel flower baluster, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
Graced with wonderful colour and tonality
Displays a desirable aged patina in good order
Enamelled body a joy of bright blue over etched cloudform pattern
Polished gilt rim catches the light beautifully
Decorated with a main foliate image, with small secondary scene to rear
