This is a vintage figural table lamp. A French, bronze spelter desk light in Art Deco taste by Balleste, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1930.
Striking Art Deco lamp in the manner of Max Le Verrier
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Polished spelter form with bright aluminium hues, accentuated by a bronze coloured skirt
Presented upon a quality tiered marble base
Lithe female form standing upon tip toes, supporting the lamp whilst arched backwards
Superb dome shade with crackle glass finish emits a soothing golden glow
Maker's signature to foot for Enrique Molins-Balleste (1893 - 1958)
Supplied with a quality length of cable, in-line switch and British Standards compliant 3-pin plug
