Antique Satinwood and Mahogany Chest on Chest

A wonderful Georgian antique satinwood and mahogany chest on chest. The mahogany chest on chest has a moulded cornice to the top and an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers below. The base section has a further three long graduating drawers, with a pull out brushing slide to the top. Each of the drawers are fitted with brass swan neck drop handles, and have a satinwood crossbanded border. Raised on four bracket feet. The antique chest on chest separates into two sections for ease of transport and movement. A particularly good example with rich colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and splits to the sides (pictured), further marks to the front. There are minor losses and splits to the veneer in places (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique satinwood and mahogany chest on chest remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.

Timescale: 5-15 working days. You will receive full delivery details once your order has been placed. For Scotland, delivery may take longer than 15 working days. Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
