This is a quality vintage verdure panel. A Belgian, jacquard woven decorative wall scene, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
Fascinating example of the William Morris tapestry of 1900, housed in the Birmingham Museum
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Delightfully detailed with an attractive colour palette
Influenced by 15th century works, the tapestry depicts the shields of knights from the round table
Text banner informs of the knights present including Galahad, Lancelot and Tristan
