    About this item

Decorative pieces such as these don't come around to often.  This charming and unusual early 20th folk art Kudu horn table with brass fittings is truly a unique piece. Constructed of horn from the Antelope genus with brass fittings to the ends and tops, brass thumb screws have been added for securing the horns together . This piece is thought to originate from South Africa. The Ebonised table top has been delicately carved with beautiful leaves and geometric patterns. A commission made peice perhaps? A stand out decorative piece for the home.

Condition commensurate with age and use. Some losses and minor scratches to the table top as would be expected.
