    19th century French bourette de soie pelmet in an exuberant design of birds surrounded by curling leaves in columns alternating with smaller birds perched on stemmed flowers in turqoise, blues and magenta pinks.The reverse a Andrinople red cotton.

    Condition is variable with black nail marks along the top edge and some fraying silk areas.
