French heavy Linen Duvet Cover in what looks like completely new condition. Beautifully made in this bright red checked linen that they love in the Alsace region where this comes from. Lovely old fashioned ribbons are used to close the cover and the whole thing is so well made - some by hand and some on an early sewing machine. It would be so attractive in a bedroom and such fun to sleeep under - sweet dreams! Circa 1900
