A rare example of a fabulous salmon and gluckstein navy cut 1oz tobacco tin. One ounce tobacco tins have always been incredibly sought after, there isn't many better firms to have a 1oz from. Salmon and gluckstein was founded by a German chap who arrrived in London in 1841 who went on to develop the tobacconist in 1855. Some of the best tobacco related advertising was produced from salmon and gluckstein. This one oz is particularly superb along with the mention of being prepared on her majesty warships so this dates this to Victorian era. The most fabulous printing and colours a real credit to any tobacco collection.
