About this item
A charming vintage push-along terrier made in England by Dean's in approximately the late 1950s. This lovely little dog is modelled as a wire-haired terrier. He has glass eyes, plastic nose and plush fur. He is mounted on a red metal frame with wheels and would have been used to help children to balance when they started to walk. He would also have been ridden on and would originally have had little foot-rests, but these have now gone. He has a Dean's Rag Book Childsplay label stitched into his belly. He has been well loved and has some signs of wear but would still make an attractive display piece.
