    A well made 19thc fruitwood "puzzle" snuff box in the form of a clog...you firstly slide open to one side, the rear part of the lid, which then allows you to pull back the middle section off a locking pin to be able to open the main body of the clog ....and then you can take your pinch of snuff.

    Excellent colour and condition...

    Continental. C1840-60.
