    A fine example of a three piece Hardy's telescopic fishing gaff, when extended it is 39 inches (99 cms) in length and when closed it is 14.75 inches (38cms) .... the hook being made of steel, the main body is brass and incorporates a brass folding safety guard which is stamped Hardy's - Alnwick.... the attractive turned ribbed wooden handle is made of a hard wood like lignum vitae and finished off with a plain finial made of brass...it is in very good original condition.
