About this item
This attractive jewellery box is veneered in rosewood and studded with faceted steel pins in a Gothic pattern which covers the domed lid and the front. The interior has been relined in pink paper and satin, matching the original. It has retained its lovely original patina and is in excellent condition. It measures 227 mm (9 inches) in length, 83 mm (3.5 inches) in depth and stands 62 mm (2.5 inches) high. C1850.
