About this item
This is an early stand with a rectangular base with 4 button feet.
The stand has two columns with a rope twist design supporting an arch with a bone hook and finials. The stand will take most verge and fusee or key wound watches – not stem wound as the hook is too thick to accommodate a winder
The stand measures 170mm x 110mm x 40mm and is in 95% mint condition – there was once some fabric or silk in the arch which has since faded
