    About this item

A charming, moulded, brown salt glaze pottery basket. This was made at the Brampton pottery in Derbyshire and it dates from c.1830. The moulding is exceptionally good quality, and very naturalistic, and the glaze is a lovely, honey colour with variations from pale to dark. Unfortunately there is a huge firing fault in the end of the basket and a wide crack has opened up. This would have happened in the kiln.

    Dimensions: Length 18cm. Width 14.5cm  Height 13.5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15
