About this item
This early Moorcroft designed Florian Ware vase is decorated with the Poppy design and carries the James McIntyre backstamp as well as William Moorcroft's painted initials. It also carries the Registered Design number Rd 326741, and a hand painted pattern or shape number M865. It stands 215 mm (8.5 inches) high and measures 117 mm (4.5 inches) across the shoulder. It does have some crazing and two very small glaze chips, the largest being 2 mm x 1 mm. It dates from the period 1898-1905.
