About this item
A stunning early 20th century globular vase, made by Gouda for Liberty’s of London.
Made by the Pzh factory in Holland using the Matt colour glaze that they perfected in the late 19th Century.
The pattern is typical of their style in the early 1920’s.
With a combination of geometric design and floral motifs.
It is clearly signed G.G. by the artist who painted it, and clearly marked Liberty
Condition report:
In very good condition for it’s age. A tiny nick on the inside rim of the vase. This can’t be seen with the naked eye. No signs of previous repair or damage.
