About this item
A rare 1930/40's matt black boat shaped mantle vase with its own metal internal frog to arrange flowers. Sylvac model 6812.
The vase is a heavy, solid piece in very good condition throughout with no chips or cracks. There is a slightly lighter colour on one edge which is in the original glaze. This is not a fault and hardly shows when the vase is empty, and when filled with flower sprays would be completely covered.
A rare and simply stunning vase with modern lines.
