This is a fabulous pair of early 1900s Porcelain/Ceramic Japanese Satsuma Vases with a rare and unusual blue ground.
Each heavy piece is embellished with raised and hand-painted Japanese warrior types figures, gilt highlights, and rope design-type handles.
The pair both sit on a near pair of later ebonised wooden stands.
