About this item
1960s French made, Vintage, Venetian-style mirror with deeply scallop-cut edged frame on the outer edge and delicate scallop cuts along the inside edge. Mid-way along each frame section, the design changes to a scallop with diagonal lines either side and then returns to the previous decoration. At each corner the glass frame has been cut on the diagonal, bevelled and fitted beautifully to the neighbouring piece and secured with silver metal pointed-top capped screws with just a little age showing in the frame around one of the screws. The central glass is bevelled and in very good condition. This very attractive mirror can be hung portrait (as photographed) or landscape.
