About this item
A nicely carved fruitwood (Pearwood) walking stick from the late 19thc....it is carved with oak leaf , acorn, holly and a central carved pear , depicting what wood the stick is carved from.....the handle is carved as a "gentleman" complete with white metal top hat and large belt and as if that is not enough dated 1898....it has gained a very good natural patina with no damage....they don't come much better..!
