About this item

A large scale 19th Century French zinc window frame converted into a mirror.

These attractive mirrors are in the 'Oeil-de-boeuf' style and when anglicised represent an ox-eye window, originally from an upper storey of a French rooftop building. With the circular mirror plate being a later addition, there is a wonderful aged grey-blue patina to the zinc.

This mirror will provide an unusual and very decorative touch to any large room or garden.
