    About this item

    Satin Birch Breakfront Wardrobe
A very good quality breakfront wardrobe in well figured golden satin birch, the doors open to a contrasting mahogany lined interior, the top pair of doors open to two dressing slides, two short and three graduated drawers, hanging cupboards to both ends with deep drawers below.   Although this is a large wardrobe it is assembled in 5 parts for ease of installation.
    British, circa 1860

Condition:  Very good overall condition, there are two small chips to the veneers to the top of the doors, the end wardrobes were originally upholstered to the inside, this fabric now removed but there are a series of panel pin holes to the sides of the cupboards.
