About this item
This is seal was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal.
This is a gilt metal seal which has an oval base set with a red hard stone held in a claw setting.
The stone is engraved with Masonic symbols
The seal has a domed carved base with a strut handle and is topped with a suspension loop.
It also has a large gilt split ring.
The seal measures 25mm x 21mm x 16mm and is in 95% mint condition .
