About this item
This is a large wooden Georgian pocket watch stand made c1800. The stand is made from rosewood stained with black polish The stand is much larger than normal and has a round base, which measures 100mm wide and is 200mm high. The base has a recessed centre which would hold the watch chain and keys etc The stand has two pillars with turned and tapered detailed leading to an arch with an bone finial and hook The stand is best suited to large pair cased watches and fusees The stand is in 95% mint condition – light marks and scratches from age related wear but no damage.
