    About this item

A sweet Derby porcelain tastevin of ogee shape with shaped rim and moulded leaf shape handle. Painted in underglaze blue with an oriental style flower in the centre, cell border pattern inside the rim and detailing to the handle. Unmarked, c.1770.

    It measures 8cm (3 1/8") rim to handle, 5.8cm (2 1/4") wide and 3cm (1 3/16") high.

In very good condition: there is a hairline to the rim but no other damage, repair or restoration. Minimal handling wear and unusually no discernible bleeding of the pattern which is a frequent issue with Derby blue and white wares.
